What is a Reverse Vending Machine
A Reverse Vending Machine also referred to as an RVM, is a Collection Point for consumers to return their empty plastic bottles. The machine, unlike a bin, selectively accepts or refuses bottles depending on how the software is set up in conjunction with the onboard sensors. The users’ experience ends with a reward for returning the bottles in the form of a printed redeemable voucher or an option to donate to a charity. By tracking the returned bottles and rewarding users, adopting a reverse vending machine dramatically increases the percentage of bottles that remain in the circular loop of recycled materials.

Weight scale
Measure the weight of the bottle, to make sure the bottle is empty by check the weight. The RVM will reject the bottle with irregular weight, such as with water or other subjects in the bottle, to ensure high-quality recycling.
Barcode scanner
With 6 high-quality Barcode scanners, the RVM is able to read the barcode on the bottle to verify if they are recyclable. And also, it is able to set the recycled items and reject the unwanted items too.
Recycle bin near the full alarm
When the Recycle bin is near to be full, the notification will be sent to the administrator by email. So, the cleaning team can be sent to clean the Recycle bin.
Compactor
The compactor will crash the bottle to save space, the recycle bin will hold more bottles and cans to save cleaning costs.
Transfer Belt

Backend system
From the backend system, you could monitor the RVMs remotely. The network is required.
