What We’ve Seen This Week

TopGood received several new inquiries during Sep 15–21, on top of multiple inquiries carried over from August. Here is an anonymized view of the trends shaping demand in self-service hardware right now. Specific customer names, project names, and order quantities are intentionally omitted to protect client confidentiality.

1. Banking & Financial Kiosks Continue to Lead

Financial-grade kiosks remain the #1 segment in our pipeline. Across African, Latin American, and Middle Eastern markets, we are seeing strong interest in:

  • Cash Deposit Machine (CDM) — multiple bulk-acceptance inquiries for banking modernization, ranging from small pilot orders to multi-unit fleet deployments
  • Banking Customer Info Kiosk / VTM-style — interest in mid-range units with PCAP touch, privacy filter, and video-teller support accessories
  • Automatic Deposit Machine (ADM) — regional banks evaluating large-fleet ADM configurations with mixed OEM-branded cash modules
  • Single-Unit Banking Kiosk Pilots — banks requesting 1-unit DEMO units to validate hardware before fleet rollouts

2. Government & Public-Sector Projects Scaling Up

Public-sector buyers are moving from pilot to volume:

  • Government service terminal fleet — emerging from Eastern European and Central Asian government modernization programs, with inquiries in the multi-hundred-unit range
  • BRT / Transit Ticketing (FVM/TVM) — South Asian system integrators bidding on major bus-rapid-transit corridors, with estimated fleet sizes in the tens to low hundreds per route
  • Refugee & humanitarian registration — international organization deployments (Asia region), requesting weather-hardened outdoor kiosks for camp environments with tight delivery windows

3. Outdoor & Off-Grid Kiosks Emerging

Demand for fully outdoor, weather-hardened, solar-capable units is rising in the Middle East and parts of Africa — applied to parking payment, remote-area utility billing, and transit-station deployments.

4. Diverse Niche Applications

  • Retail power-bank / charging rental — emerging retail concept in Oceania: mall-based prototype deployments
  • Currency exchange kiosks — licensed European exchange offices evaluating turnkey multi-unit deployments
  • RFID-integrated self-service — Latin American integrators exploring RFID library and retail-checkout use cases

What This Tells Us

  • Banking hardware (CDM / ADM / VTM) remains the highest-volume segment across emerging markets
  • Government and transit orders are scaling from single-unit pilots to 50–600 unit fleets — early engagement with system integrators matters
  • Outdoor / solar-powered units are emerging as a distinct product line for parking, transit, and remote deployments
  • OEM/ODM branding is requested in the majority of inquiries — integrators value turnkey hardware partners who can white-label
